This is a short walk in the Cooma locality.
Pine Ridge Reserve is an area of crown land between Church Road and Bligh Street, Cooma.
We will spend the morning exploring the reserve and perhaps capture some sightings for the Atlas of Living Australia – https://www.ala.org.au/
Walking will be on rough formed vehicle tracks and some foot trails – so good footwear is a must.
Distance will be approx. 5km with some uphill sections.
Bring some morning tea and your camera. We will see what the weather has in store for us regarding appropriate clothing.

This Grassland Earless Dragon (Tympanocryptis pinguicolla) was sighted near the reserve – it may be too cold for lizards, but you never know…

A map of the proposed walk route – you may need to save the image on your device to zoom in on the detail.
We will be meeting at the end of Norman Dykes Avenue at 9:00am.

Please contact the walk leader Jamie Bond via the club email geehiclub@hotmail.com for further details and to register your interest by Thursday 9/5/19, Thanks.
