To celebrate the Club’s 60th birthday, as well as the 60th birthday of some of the Club’s favourite members, we’re planning a weekend of walks. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with the club, and catch up with old and new faces. New members are also welcomed.
Date: Fri 24th – Sun 26th Nov 2017
Location: Charlottes Pass Village, with accommodation available at the Imbac at Smiggins Holes. Beds for 32 peoples available, but going fast!
Format: BYO food and do a joint group cook-up for a Saturday evening feast. If your offspring can be tricked into coming, they would of course be welcome.
Activities: The Lakes walk on the Saturday 25th, early start and finish when we can. Easier Alternatives for those that are less keen.
This picturesque walk crosses Australia’s highest passes, with views of all five glacial lakes and of the steep dramatic western side of the Main Range.
And possible walks for the Sunday.
