Cooma North Ridge 21 March 2020

A dozen Geehi Bushwalking Club members explored Cooma North Ridge on 21 March 2020

Well versed in self-protection measures, a dozen walkers headed off to explore the Cooma North Ridge. We started at the Southern boundary and headed along some of the steep newly formed fire tracks that were challenging but achievable. We followed the planned walking loops which took in wonderful vistas towards Rose Valley and Nimmitabel. All appeared lush and green from our vantage point. From 3 Poles we looked back along Cooma Creek over town to the 3 Brothers, always an expansive view. We were grateful that Geehi member, Tein McDonald, who shared her wealth of knowledge of weeds and bush regeneration as we walked through different areas on the Cooma North Ridge. We arrived back refreshed by our exertions and the varied conversations with fellow walkers.

Keep checking the Geehi Bushwalking website for updates on our walks.
