This trip will be a 4 day bushwalk from Round Mountain to Jagungal and return. Mt Jagungal is the isolated peak North of the main Range and the only one over 2,000m separate from the main range. So we can expect great views, weather permitting.
This walk will be mostly off track and has been graded 5 – hard.

As you can see this is a real wilderness walk and we are not planning to stay at any huts, you will need to bring everything; all food and clothing and camping equipment. As it is late Autumn allow for the possibility of cool weather. But remember, you will have to carry it all so keep it as light as you can.
Due to the remote location numbers will be limited, so contact walk leader as early as possible to discuss the equipment and fitness level requirements. Latest date for expressions of interest is Mon 11th April.
Initial contact with walk leader will be at: geehiclub@hotmail.com
