An overnight trip from Kiandra to Nine Mile Diggings, and on to Tabletop Mountain. This area is scattered with remnants from the gold mining era such as mine workings, water races, dams, machinery and other infrastructure. Nine Mile Diggings was a large mine operation, second only to Kiandra in this general area. We shall camp in the Nine Mile Diggings area, although if the weather is kind a camp on top of Tabletop will be considered. If the weather is particularly unkind a visit to Broken Dam hut is possible. On the return we may visit the Elaine Mine workings on Bloomfield Ck, then on to the 4 Mile workings area
