Hoping for some nice weather for a bit of whale watching as we walk from Tura Headland to North Tura Lookout / Bournda Island and return.
The distance is about 10km return and will involve walking on defined trails. There will be some stairs along the way. 2km each way will be along Tura beach.
So a bit of everything on this walk.
There are 2 meeting points on this activity. Cooma North shops at 08:00 and those wanting to meet at the Tura Headland carpark – we will have to co-ordinate a time to meet on the day, but it should be around 10:00
We will park the cars at Tura Headland just off Headland Drive.
Lunch will be at or around Bournda Island area.
Bring your binoculars and camera.
Pack lunch or purchase along the way down.
Dress in layers as the weather can be a bit unpredictable.
Protect yourself from ticks as we will be walking through some scrubby areas.
