DESCRIPTION:

Walk starting point will be trail head at Guthega Ski Village.
After trying out the new bridge we follow well worn foot pad or the new walking path which is due to be well advanced in its construction.

Morning tea will be near the Lodge (we will not have access inside though) and then we will be off to explore what progress has been made on the new walking track towards Charlottes Pass. This is part of the planned new iconic walking trail project that will ultimately link Thredbo, Charlottes Pass, Guthega, Perisher and Lake Crakenback. Current schedule indicates a section up to Spencers Creek should be done.

If we are not able to see any of the new trail, we could otherwise cross the bridge and head towards Mt Twynam to explore.

Return will be by backtracking on same route.
