On Sat 10 August 2024 the Geehi Bushwalking Club will be conducting a walk near Numeralla. The plan will be to drive with at least two vehicles to Numeralla village, leaving one there and driving back to the start point 14.3 kms from Cooma Racecourse. The track leads downhill for 4 kms along a fire trail through the Coonatha Nature Reserve until reaching the Numeralla River. We will be keeping a sharp eye out for koalas through the nature reserve. We then progress 6.5 kms following the river until we arrive at Numeralla Village.
This walk is classed as easy but as always wear stout footwear and bring water, morning tea and lunch.
We will meet at the lower Cooma North shops car park at 0900 for car pooling.
