This walk will be undertaken from Snowy Mountains Highway on this occasion due to lack of access to Ravine during Snowy 2.0 construction.
It is an old miners route as described in our Snowy Mountains walks book, from p136 (8th ed) which we will check as we go for currency.
As it has been many years since we have done this walk it will be partly exploratory.
DISTANCE: Approx 9 kms return.
GRADING: This is mostly Off-track walking so is graded as 4, hard. See our grading guide and our calendar here.

GEAR: Be prepared for all weather, from hot to very cold. Gaiters or long trousers.
