On this walk we will make our way to camp near Mt Townsend, the second highest point in Australia.
There will be time to explore the summit area and enjoy some great views.
We could go out to the Sentinel on our return back to Charlottes Pass.
Grade: 3-4 medium Difficulty. Some off track walking but well above the tree line, so actual no bush bashing.
Bring: All the usual camping gear and food. Don’t forget to allow for changeable weather too as it is quite exposed.
Also bring out: Your toilet waste and paper, this area suffers from significant visual and other pollution. We do not want to add to it.
