Snow Picnic – Changed to Sunday 19th June
Destination: Smiggin Holes
Given the forecast weather conditions on the 5th of June a decision has been made to postpone the Ski Picnic to Sunday 19th June.
The road to Charlottes Pass has already been closed so, conditions permitting we will head to Smiggin Holes for our snow picnic.
If the group prefers something a bit more adventurous we could opt for Porcupine Rocks.
Snow shoes or XC skis will be a must as there will be a covering of snow.
Be sure to bring food and drink to enjoy a picnic lunch in the snow 🙂
Weather conditions in the area can turn extreme very quickly, so pack dry clothing (leave in the car) and dress in layers so you can adjust accordingly.
Meeting at Cooma North Shops at 08:30 for a 09:00 departure.
