Watsons Crags and Mt Twynam

ACTIVITY: Bushwalk to Watsons Crags and Mt Twynam LEADER: Graeme Little GRADE: 3, medium. From campsite to Watsons Crags is largely off-track, the walking is through low grassland/herbfield. DISTANCE: About 5km on first day to camp, and about 15km on second day. RISKS: High UV/sun, no shade. Wind and rain.

Pallaibo Track and Christmas picnic

Milk Shanty Falls

This walk will be undertaken from Snowy Mountains Highway on this occasion due to lack of access to Ravine during Snowy 2.0 construction. It is an old miners route as described in our Snowy Mountains walks book, from p136 (8th ed) which we will check as we go for currency.

Cross Country Ski Day – Cabramurra

This is our chance to dust off and get out on our skis (or snow shoes if you prefer). We will explore the ski trails around Dry Dam at Cabramurra, which has so far received excellent snow cover. In good weather this offers excellent skiing on open rolling terrain with

Mt Jagungal

This trip will be a 4 day bushwalk from Round Mountain to Jagungal and return. Mt Jagungal is the isolated peak North of the main Range and the only one over 2,000m separate from the main range. So we can expect great views, weather permitting.

South Ramshead

Consett Stephens Pass
