Here is our lodge stay weekend to celebrate our 65th Year. Members are invited to stay at a Ski Club lodge in Smiggin's Holes to allow us to do two walks; one which is a traditional Classic walk and one new one. Accommodation is on self catering and self provided
A social get together for members to catch up socially for the year. The Christmas get together will be at the Murrumbidgee picnic grounds. Meeting around 11:00. The usual bring drinks, a plate, and celebrate. There is the option of a short walk along the river upstream of the bridge.
We are now planning to have the camp out weekend at Oldfield's Hut in December after being washed out in October. This will be a good base camp for us to visit Bimberi Peak. Which is actually on the border of ACT so it is in Namadgi National Park. Friday
This walk is primarily an overnight trip from Dead Horse Gap to Bob's Ridge and on to Jerusalem Hill and the Chimneys. For those only desiring a day trip it will be possible to do a round trip of about 9 kms, returning along the Cascade fire trail. From Dead

This is one of our classic walks which we propose to do in the uphill direction this time. It will be done as an overnight trip starting from Geehi Flat and finishing at Dead Horse Gap. A day walk option, walking up to Moiras Flat and return, may be available
This walk will be undertaken from Snowy Mountains Highway on this occasion due to lack of access to Ravine during Snowy 2.0 construction. It is an old miners route as described in our Snowy Mountains walks book, from p136 (8th ed) which we will check as we go for currency.
